Short version
We collect what you send us via the contact form — your name, email, and message. We use it to reply to you and follow up on your project. We don't sell your data, track you, or share it with anyone beyond what's needed to deliver our service. Email hello@devproton.com to delete it.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the message you write. That's it. We don't run account systems, user dashboards, or persistent profiles.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email. We treat it the same way — it's used only to respond and follow up on your project.
We don't currently run analytics beyond what Vercel provides by default (anonymised request-level data — no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking). If that changes, we'll update this page.
How we use it
We use the information you send to:
- Reply to your inquiry
- Send a follow-up about your project scope or next steps
- Keep a record of the conversation in our email thread
We don't use your contact details for marketing campaigns or cold outreach to unrelated offers.
What we don't do
- Sell your data to anyone
- Use it for advertising or retargeting
- Share it with third parties beyond our email provider (Resend) and hosting infrastructure (Vercel)
- Build a profile on you across sites
Cookies
We use minimal cookies:
- Theme preference — stored in
localStorageto remember whether you chose dark mode or a different colour theme. This doesn't leave your browser. - Vercel / Next.js essentials— the hosting platform may set cookies for performance and edge routing. These don't identify you across sites.
No tracking pixels. No analytics cookies. No advertising cookies.
Third parties we use
We keep this list short and won't add to it without updating this page:
- Resend — transactional email. Your contact form submission is routed through Resend to reach our inbox. Resend stores the email for delivery and logging purposes. Resend privacy policy →
- Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel handles infrastructure and may log anonymised request data. Vercel privacy policy →
- GitHub — our source code is hosted on GitHub. No user data flows to GitHub from the website. GitHub privacy statement →
Your rights
You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time. Email hello@devproton.comand we'll remove it from our records within 30 days.
If you're based in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR — including the right to access, correct, and port your data. The same email address applies for all requests.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes (like adding an analytics tool), we'll note it clearly.
